William Sutherland grew up wanting to be a pilot. MFC took him from having never touched an airplane, to getting himself an instructor rating and being able to teach people how to fly.
He has been at the college since 2003. He started in the Diploma program, then moved on to the instructor program. After working as a full time flight instructor, William was officially honored with the role of Safety Officer in 2007. His job now is not only to teach students how to fly, but analyze trends at the college which can help us improve overall safety here at MFC. Contact William | | |
